Nijel Edwards earned his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, graduating in May 2025. During law school, he served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Judge Johnell Matthews and the Honorable Judge Brittany Bryant Jorden. These clerkships provided valuable experience researching complex legal issues, drafting legal documents, and gaining firsthand insight into judicial decision-making.
