Josue Garza obtained his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Texas at San Antonio. While there, he also attended the Institute for Law and Public Affairs and obtained a certificate in legal reasoning.
Garza attended law school at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated summa cum laude and in the top 2% of his class. During law school, he completed a clerkship with the honorable Judge Emilio Garza of the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
After law school, Garza became an assistant district attorney with the Harris County district attorney’s office. He won numerous jury trials and was promoted to chief prosecutor. In that position, he was placed in charge of teaching new district attorneys trial strategy.
After distinguishing himself as a successful prosecutor, Garza began his career in private practice. He now specializes in personal injury and employment law. His practice focuses on workers who have been injured on the job, or who have been wrongfully terminated.
